The Chardonnay occupies around 10% of the vineyard area owned by WEINGUT CHRIST in Vienna – Jedlersdorf and is situated on the south-facing slopes of the Bisamberg.
The Chardonnay has its charms both as a primary fruity, young white wine and as a massively structured vineyard wine of international standard. It is a grape variety, which presents itself steadily elegant and timeless.
The soil conditions are shaped by weathering Flysch-sandstone, which contains a high chalk activity.
Taste profile: fruity with notes of stone fruits, light in the finish, fresh, peppery, animating to drink
According to analyses by the Federal Office of Viticulture, our white wines contain <0.1mg/l histamine. Contains sulphites.
